Home Physio Notts provides high quality physiotherapy at a place convenient to you, whether that be in your own home, care home or place of work. It can be tricky finding the time to get to a clinic appointment, that is why I come to you. I pride myself on carrying out holistic assessments and creating specific treatment plans tailored to each individual need.

The following are some of the conditions I treat:

Many people struggle with their mobility due to getting older, arthritis, long hospital stays and illnesses which have caused deconditioning. Physiotherapy can help to improve mobility with exercise, pain management, hands on treatment and advice. Reduced mobility is also a big factor in falls which can lead to further complications, so by improving mobility the risk of falls is greatly reduced.

I see a lot of people struggling with back and neck pain, a large number of these are caused by poor posture. Hip and knee pain caused by arthritis is another common issue, along with other joint pains, old injuries and repetitive strain injuries.

Function and mobility can be affected in people with neuro conditions such as Parkinsons, MS and previous strokes. Physiotherapy can help to regain some normal function, maintain current levels of movement and prevent deconditioning.

Following surgery we often lose some of our normal function so physiotherapy is vital to regain full movement and strength. Exercises need to be tailored within the safe limits and correct post-op advice is required. Types of surgery include knee and hip replacements, other orthopedic operations, cardiac surgey and bowel surgery.

Below is a list of some of the treatments I provide within my role as a physiotherapist:
